Home One Service Team Volunteers for The Toys for Tots Community Drive
At Home One Service, every year for the past 10 years we have been a Toys for Tots drop off location. We take great pride in providing superior services and we also take great pride in supporting the community, especially around the holidays.
When it comes to helping little kids and the less fortunate, our team’s dedication shines even stronger.
Toys for Tots is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve ever since 1947, which distributes toys in time for Christmas to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts.
At Home One Services, we were impressed with the Toys For Tots program and thought we could also make a difference in someone else’s life. So we decided to become a Toys for Tots drop off location ever since we opened our business!
Serving the community in this way became our deed, and it wasn’t long before our employees also started to volunteer for this gratifying cause.
The Home One team contributes to the Toys For Tots program by providing support with the collection and distribution of the toys at the Toys for Tots warehouse.

This is how this good cause Toys For Tots program works: people come into the office to drop off their toys, etc. that they are donating; closer to Christmas, a truck will come by the office to pick up the toys that have been collected and transport them to the Toys for Tots warehouse, where they will be sorted out in different age groups and also by boys and girls toys.
Our commitment doesn’t stop there. We then sign up to volunteer to help the families select the toys for their kids, assist them at the station where they can have their gifts wrapped, and help them with transporting the gifts to their vehicles.
Having our own employees come together and help out like this really put us in the Holiday Spirit!
We are very proud to have such charity-driven employees, and it greatly matches our mission and philosophy – to always put customers and the community first, and serve them in the most ethical and professional way.
For the Home One Services team, helping the community is extremely rewarding, and making sure that less fortunate children receive Christmas gifts puts a big smile on our faces!
